I’m not sure there’s ever been a more inspiring group of people than those who gathered for this year’s Human Rights Awards Dinner in Minneapolis. Put on by the Advocates for Human Rights, it’s an annual event that recognizes people who have contributed significantly to the human rights movement.

3M was a supporter of the dinner and awards ceremony. It was a huge honor to represent my employer at something like this, and to be there with my family. In the picture is me with my dad, John, who’s always set a great example of public service, and my oldest son, Carson, who volunteered at the awards ceremony. I’ve done a lot of work trying to help stop violence against women, and they’ve both been with me every step of the way. I don’t know if I’m prouder to be part of this family, part of 3M or part of this great community!
