A New Home for Innovation

It’s a great time for the R&D community at 3M. Soon, we will open a new, state-of-the-art laboratory on our campus in St. Paul, Minnesota. Under construction now, it will house hundreds of the world’s best and brightest scientists from several of our businesses. It’s been purposefully designed to allow the kind of cross-collaboration that is a core piece of our culture and has led to some of our biggest breakthroughs.
In our work to invent things that are both new and useful, our scientists collaborate across subjects, across geographies, with customers and with each other.
